A blood-curdling scream rang through the night air, piercing the silence that seemed enchanting in the grassy hillside. A thud was followed the scream that would have shook the ground if the object that had fallen was big enough. Another scream, less loud, was sounded after it. But this scream was different. The first one sounded pained and full of agony. This scream was full of shock and horror, as if someone had just witnessed a murder.
Lying sprawled out of the ground, a young maybe thirteen year old girl was obviously hurt. The triangular helmet that was always covering her face was up, resting on her head. Her dark mouse brown hair was messy and tangled. The grass under her was drenched with green blood that was coming from the wound on her slim abdomen, a sword stuck right through her. Salty tears were pouring from her ash grey eyes which already were starting to close from the pain.
Above her, was another girl, around the same age or a year older. Her storm grey eyes were small and frightened at the scene below her. Her hands were held to her chest, obviously horrified at what had just happened. Her knees felt extremely weak and shaky and she knew she would fall any minute. A wave of guilt washed over her as she realized that this accident was partly her fault.
A dark voice came from the shadows of the midnight sky as a pair of blood red eyes seemed to fade in next to the scared girl.
Best to not make friends with people my sword can penetrate, eh Moonlight? The voice was evilly teasing and horribly scathing.
Moonlight closed her eyes for a moment, but widened them again as if by dark power, a young boy also about her age appeared beside her and the dying girl below her. Using more power in his possession, he seemed to lift the injured girl off the ground without using his body, earning a frightened and hurt whimper from her.
Interesting one this girl is. He said, looking her over as if a cruel game. Green blood was now leaking from the girls mouth as her pain-filled eyes looked sadly at him. Moonlight narrowed her eyes dangerously as a pale blue glow encircled her.
Sunburst leave her alone! she hissed. Sunburst looked at her before he smirked, his hold on the hurt girl removed and she fell with a sickening thud that made her cry out as she landed on the sword, pushing it in her farther.
Raising her head up with great effort, the dark red orb necklace she always wore started glowing and rose off her chest. Looking at it, the tears started to flow less freely now.
she whispered with agony in her young voice. Almost at once, the expression on her tear-filled face changed as the tears stopped. Her eyes glowed a dangerous dark red and her eyes narrowed with anger.
Rising off her feet as if she had no trouble, she ripped the sword out of her stomach with no scream of pain. Arching her back sharply, dozens of barbed wire tentacles sprang from her back and started withering about, tearing the back of her shirt a bit. Narrowing her still glowing eyes, one of the tentacles flew towards Sunbursts gloating figure and wrapped around him, surprising him a bit.
Dont celebrate yet! she hissed dangerously.
Sunburst didnt seem bothered and smiled evilly. Then why dont you turn around?
The girl looked taken aback. What are you talking about?
. A weak voice sounded behind her, making her pupils shrink with fear.
Moonlight? she asked, a bit afraid of tuning around and seeing something completely horrible. That right.
Moonlight! she cried out, tears falling from her grey eyes again. Her friend and foe, Moonlight, was lying on the grass, her whole body torn in two, blood pouring out of her mouth, her face twisted with pain and fear.
You still wanna fight Silent Hill girl? Sunburst whispered darkly from behind her. The girl felt her bangs fall in front of her face.
For Moonlights sake
she started before she spun around so quickly it surprised the evil boy, she stabbed his right in the abdomen. Perfect revenge.
Yes! she finished, stepping back, but turning around as Moonlight spoke again.
he cant die. She said hoarsely, tears coming down her cheeks. The girl that was called Mini Pyramid Head looked shocked.
Huh? What do you mean? Little did she see the sharp blade aimed at the middle of her back. It plunged into her roughly, making her cry out in surprise.
Listen to your friend monster. Sunbursts sinister voice sounded behind her. Narrowing her eyes, she ignored Moonlights cry of shock and horror filled gaze rest on her.
You cant kill me with my own sword. Mini PH snarled, pulled the sword from inside her and facing Moonlights foe.
Sunbursts red eyes narrowed with interest. So I see. He remarked.
Standing protectively in front of Moonlight, the younger pyramid head kept her narrowed eyes on the boy. Leave us alone. She hissed.
Sunburst suddenly dissolved from view, leaving only his glowing eyes remaining. Not until I kill you properly. He threatened.
Mini PH followed in suit, half amazed she could do it. I would like to see you try. She countered bravely.
As if on cue, Sunburst was visible again, a dozen of black tentacles coming from behind him. His pupils became lost as his eyes began to glow red again. Electrical sparks surrounded the black withering tentacles making Mini PHs eyes widened with alarm and back up as he drew closer.
she whispered, remembering her weakness towards electricity. How could any besides her father have found that out?
Back to hell where you belong. Sunburst hissed before the withering mass shot forward towards the trembling girl, wrapping around her limbs and tightly around her abdomen, the electricity shooting throughout her body, making her scream with agony. Moonlight cupped her hands over her mouth, her eyes widened with shock.
Despite the fatal pain she was in, Moonlight narrowed her eyes with anger. How could you be so cruel? Even if he was a cold-blooded killer, she never expected him to use the weakness of someone who was already hurt on them to kill them.
Sunburst seemed unbothered by Moonlight and turned towards her, eyes narrowed. I take no mercy on anyone Moonlight. You should no that.
Moonlight did know that, but she refused to listen to it. Sunburst had almost killed her many times before, making sure he wanted to do it right. She out of all people should know that as well as anyone.
He continued without giving Moonlight a chance to speak. There is a reason she lives in that horrible town.
Moonlight glared at him and then looked sadly at Mini PH, who was being burnt to a crisp, now in too much pain to scream now. Moonlight knew that Silent Hill was a terrible town, a terrible terrible town, but from what she knew, it wasnt Mini PHs fault she was there. She did not deserve any of this.
With difficulty, Moonlight grabbed Mini PHs sword that had fallen on the floor. Narrowing her ash grey eyes and trying to ignore the pain she was in, she threw the sword, making it land in the grass, sticking straight up.
Im not letting you die! she hissed bravely before Sunburst glared at her to be silent. However, the sword was now glowing a blood red and evil humming started to fill the air. Mini PH, now no longer in pain because the electricity that was shocking her had stopped, tilted her head towards it, fully aware of what was going to happen.
Just like back at her home, Silent Hill, the night sky started to turn a dark red and the features on the ground became harder, like the metal floor of where she lived. It was like Alessa had seen her daughter and brought the hell of Silent Hill to this place.
Moonlight however was looking at something that was straight in front of her, eyes widened with terror. Oh boy. Uh Sunburst
Shut up Moonlight! Cant you see Im busy? he hissed, but his eyes widened as the sky changed color and the scenery became more dark.
Mini PH was the only one happy now. Still trapped in Sunbursts tentacles, she smiled, her grey eyes wide with happiness. Hi daddy! she cried out with joy.
Sunburst sighed. Oh great. He muttered, before another child, around their ages, stormed up to him and grabbed him from the collar, his own sword in hand, read to strike. Dont mess with my sister! he growled, earning a frightened look from Sunburst. He had obviously overlooked the power of Silent Hill.
Mini PH looked at the boy and let out another cry of joy. Chad! Youre here too!
Chad looked at his sister. Were both here Mini. He said comfortingly. Looking at Sunburst with an evil smirked, he looked behind him. Okay Pyramid Head. Hes all yours.
Sunburst flinched as a huge knife hit the ground with a loud thud, making huge dark red and black cracks in the deformed ground. A figure stood before him, the only clothing was a butchers smock made out of human skin that was from the waist down. A huge metal triangular helmet, much bigger that Mini PHs, was on his head. In a deep frightened voice, Pyramid Head spoke.
Finally. He sounded please to kill the boy who had harmed his daughter.
Sunburst, who had been pushed roughly towards the huge monster by Chad, was pale and scared. He could barley stand.
Pyramid Heads invisible glare was unseen, but sensed by frightened child. I
.kill you!XD Pyramid head growled.
But he cant die! Moonlights weak voice sounded again for what seemed like a lifetime.
Pyramid Head faced the dismembered girl. Young one, that wont stop me. He sounded as sinister as Sunburst, making the young boy let out a whimper of fear.
Suddenly, as if on cue, a dark portal of dark supernatural energy opened next to all of them, making Mini PH squeak with joy. Home! she cried happily.
Sunburst however, was no happy. H
.Home? he questioned.
Chad, smiling evilly, gave Sunburst a rough push towards it. After you mortal. He growled.
Sunburst looked at the portal, then at Chad then back again. Are you serious?
Chad glared at him. Do I look like Im kidding?
Sunburst narrowed his eyes, looking defiantly at the young boy. Im not going without a fight! he hissed and as quick as a flash, the tentacles that were still holding Mini PH released her and sprung after her brother.
Chad showed no surprise in his expression as the black withering limbs close in on him. In fact, the only movement he made was the flash of his sword as they got too close. The sickening sound of slicing flesh made Mini PH and Moonlight wince as Sunburst cried out in pain, the bleeding stumps falling dead to the ground.
Chad grabbed the distracted villain by the shoulder and glared at him. Either you can go dead or alive.
Sunbursts eyes widened, but before he could reply, Pyramid Heads knife rose from off the ground and the huge monster held it towards Sunbursts abdomen. Go on.
Sunburst looked at them all before he turned towards the portal. Chad, wanting to have a little fun, pushed him in, earning a scream from the now curse child.
Pyramid Head walked in after him, making sure he didnt try to escape. Chad was about to follow when he turned to see his sister kneeling next to her friend and former foe, her eyes sparkling.
This is all my fault. She said sadly, taking Moonlight hand.
Moonlight smirked, but winced as if hurt her too much. Nah, its not. Its my fault we are here in the first place.
Mini PH shook her head. No its not. Why would it be your fault?
Moonlight averted her eyes ashamed. Because I lured you here to be killed.
Mini PH looked shocked. What?
Moonlight nodded. Im sorry. I deserve this. I told you to come so we could fight and one of us would be killed. I never knew Sunburst was going to come.
Mini PH looked at her, still in shock before she sighed and shook her head. Nah. You were just doing what was right. If I hadnt had called my father and brother
What, you sad that we came before both of you were killed. Chad said teasingly, coming up and giving his sister a smirk.
Playfully punching him softly in the arm. No. If I hadnt had done that, Moonlight would not have been
she couldnt speak the word.
Moonlight glared. Its not your fault. Sunburst has tried to kill me dozens of times. He succeeded this time is all.
Chad looked at them both. You two are pathetic. Looking at Moonlight he said a bit more softly. Youre not going to die.
Moonlight looked extremely confused. Pardon?
Looking at Mini PH, Chad pushed her behind him gently. Stand behind me and dont move. He said, positioning his sword right above the gap in Moonlights abdomen.
Grey eyes wide, the injured girl let out a terrified cry. What are you doing?
Shut up and stay still. Chad growled before he plunged his sword right in the middle of the empty space. Letting out a squeak of alarm, Moonlight watched, wide eyed as the dark red energy that had surrounded Mini PHs sword was now gripping the two ends of her wounds and started pulling her together.
Surprised, she could feel her skin reforming and her organs repairing inside her. Once stitched back up, she noticed that Chads sword was now stuck in her stomach. Looking confused, Chad swiftly pulled it out of her and the wound was as if by magic repaired.
Mini PH let out a cry of excitement and ran up to Moonlight, reaching out her hand. Your okay!
Moonlight stood up slowly, testing to make sure she wasnt going to fall apart again, before she embraced Chad really hard, a surprised expression on his face.
Thank you thank you thank you!!! she cried.
Chad hesitantly patted her back. Uh, youre welcome
. He said.
Mini PH smiled before she turned to the portal. We should leave now. Its going to close any second.
Chad nodded and gently pried Moonlight off of him before he scampered into the portal. Mini PH was about to follow when she looked back at the moon warriors.
Hey, does this mean we have to be nice to each other?
Moonlight smirked. Not a chance Silent Hill girl.
Mini PH gave her own smirk. Good, cause me and you are better enemies and we will stay that way right?
Moonlight mockingly bowed. As you wish, enemy.
Mini PH nodded before she turned to the opening, but ran back towards her foe and embraced her, making Moonlight widen her eyes in surprise.
Even though we are foes now, Ill always miss you. Mini PH said, stepping back after the quick hug.
Moonlights smirk formed into a warm smile. I know. Me too.
Mini PH nodded before she walked back t the portal and slowly walked in, not looking back at Moonlight. As she stepped inside, the portal disappeared and Moonlight was left alone.
The hellish version of the grassy plains and night sky vanished and it was normal once again. Moonlight sighed and sat down under the bright stars and luminous moon.
At once she opened her phone watched and began speaking. Moonwatcher? Hey you wanna meet me at the Moon Plains? I want to talk with you. She said before she closed it after her brother responded.
She loved life and all the people in it, even her so called enemies.
